Overview

The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Reform Movement, is a fundamental Christian faith that takes as its creed the Bible (of 66 books) and the Bible only. The writings of Ellen G. White are also considered to be inspired.

The primary objective of this organization is to fulfill the commission of Jesus Christ: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew 28:19-20.

As Christ sought the well-being of mankind, we also are committed to promoting peace and harmony by spreading the knowledge of the Bible, especially the eternal, universal principles of the Ten Commandments; by living and preaching the teachings of Jesus Christ; and by providing education in sound health principles. Optimal public health and welfare are accomplished by a simple, healthful way of living; by abstinence from all harmful substances; and by taking care of the environment in honor of the sacred trust God gave man at creation to have dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:28).

In addition to weekly worship services, we conduct lectures (public and private), hold Bible classes, give educational instruction, and publish and distribute literature for young and old. Wherever possible, institutions of learning for the education of young people and sanitariums for the healing of body, soul, and spirit are established.

In harmony with the above, and understanding that any real change of habits and lifestyle can come about only through a true heart relationship with God, we limit ourselves to charitable and benevolent activities and refuse participation of any kind in the shedding of blood, public demonstrations, and politics.

Every honest, sincere individual who is committed to the principles of the Bible and personally makes a covenant with God through baptism by immersion may be a member. Support of this organization’s mission to spread the gospel comes from the tithes and offerings of its members and friends.

Our greatest hope is the fulfillment of the promise made by Jesus Christ that He will return and take with Him all who accept Him as their Saviour, committing their lives to following the principles of His holy kingdom, as presented in the Bible. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20. His eternal kingdom will be their home, and they will hear the King of kings and Lord of lords say, “Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Matthew 25:34.
